Might invest in some XBL cards before the price increases and then sell them when it does increase....off to check wholesale website.

In fairness you have to ask yourself when the last price hike was? Oh yeah, never.

It was inevitable that it would rise at some point, and the fact that they appear to have done their homework by keeping the 12 month cost the same as it was for the UK but bringing other countries up to be more in line isn't necessarily such a bad thing.

SPAAAAAAAACE!

Yeah not gonna make any difference to me either.
Even if the 12 month price did go up I'm sure places would still manage to sell them for £30 or so. Unless they get their stock from America at the moment where it's cheaper so they can afford to sell on cheaper...

It was inevitable really.

Won't bother me either, if I need Gold I'll search around for the lowest price, and get Gold.

I bet there were rivers of tears and nerd rage on OXF :pmsl:

Well, if you think you can pay the same price for something that was first sold in 2002, you're a fucking imbecile and should have the internet taken off you.

In any case, the price of a 12m UK subs isn't changing. If you pay monthly, you're a fucking mug anyway.

Hi I'm Lout's sexy little sex slave ;)

At the end of the day, even if it rose to £50 a year, that is, what, £4.16 a month. It is not expensive :pmsl:

Got an email from Live-Codes yesterday saying that because they are putting the price of 1, 3 and 12 month cards up in line with the US.

how many years has the price of LIVE subscriptions stayed the same?

Online outlets always offer a cheaper pre paid purchase anyway, so give it time and the prices will balance out again to what they are now, its just the direct subscription through MS that is going up, by something so small it will barely be noticeable
